Veterans Day is an annual American holiday honoring all US military veterans from all wars.
War veterans include all the soldiers and uniformed support personnel that serve to support the armed forces.
Without the mechanics, service technicians, and support personnel, jets could not fly and ships could not sail.

Veterans Day is usually observed on November 11. However, if Nov. 11 occurs on a Sunday; then the following Monday is designated for holiday
leave purposes (day off from work), and if Nov. 11 occurs on a Saturday then either Saturday or Friday may be designated as the day off.
